Nightmarish Video of Animal Abuse Captured at Dairy Farm
This video, which was captured and released by Mercy for Animals, shows some of the most sickening animal abuse that one can imagine. At an Ohio Dairy Farm called Conklin Dairy Farms, workers are encouraged by the owner to beat and mutilate cows and caves with everything from pitchforks to crowbars (there is even footage of the owner participating). The danger here is that people will think this is an isolated incident and fail to realize that this is a failure of farms to self-regulate, and that strong legal action is needed to punish these abusers and to protect animals in the future from anything remotely resembling this.
There is a petition by Change.org to shut down the farm and to have the crew and owner of the farm arrested, and I hope anyone reading this will sign it.
Makes it hard to consider drinking milk.
